Three Years with Tiger

A belated birthday post for our sweet Tiger. I know we rocked your world last year with the birth of your baby brother (“Mommy, I want Arrow to go back in your tummy and get very small..”) but my dream is he will be one of our greatest gifts as a best friend. I am so impressed by your capacity to memorize so much so fast, empathize beyond your years (“Mommy, are you happy? Free hug?”) and challenge EVERYTHING including truths (“I don’t want gravity!”), me (“I want to read infinite books before bed!”), your teachers (Teacher, “should we get one bunny or two bunnies?” Tiger, “three bunnies!”), and most certainly your Daddy.

I am so sorry that you inherited my bad eyesight, but I know that nothing will stop you. This year your beloved cars took a backseat for painting, singing, puzzles, books and your new best friend Jace, we moved you from Montessori to Bright Start preschool and your nanny of all of your 3 years, Yadi Jalomo, just moved away. I hope you continue to let what you’re thinking and feeling pour from your mouth without inhibitions as I absolutely love to hear you process your world and what goes on in that smart mind. Happy birthday my little love.
